Casey Wright

Hi, I'm Casey! I am an XC skier from Don Valley, Victoria, Australia. I spend most of my time training and competing in the Yarra Valley, Falls Creek, Victorian Alpine Region, and throughout Europe during the Northern Winter.


I am a member of the Australian XC Ski Team and represented Australia at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. My training is currently focused on qualifying for and competing at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Other career highlights include: -Representing Australia at a number of major international events including the Olympics, World Championships, World Junior and U23 World Championships, World Cup, and Asian Winter Games. - Winner of Australian Championships x 5 - Australia's Kangaroo Hoppet podium x 2 - Representing the University of Alaska Anchorage for 4 years on the NCAA circuit while I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science, and earning All-American Honours.

Nutrition Tips

Since you only get out what you put in, it is vital to eat and hydrate properly before, during and after training and competition. First-hand experiences and my university studies have taught me that without adequate hydration and nutrition, I am not able to meet the physical demands of my training and competition. As such, I make sure I always have fluid and food with me on all of my training sessions. I also focus heavily on nutrition and hydration as part of my recovery process.
