Hi I am Ryan. Father and Multi-Sport athlete from Kwinana, Western Australia.

Achievements

I am currently State 30-39 Cross Country MTB Champ and have shifted focus to Distance Running this year. I am training to go under 3 Hours for the Marathon in March, then moving onto Ultra training for a 60km, 2500m elevation Ultra Marathon in June.

What Inspires You

My family inspires me to do what I do these days. I have two young sons that I need to keep up with. And not break trying to keep up with 😊 I got into triathlon back in the day because Emma Carney came and did my local 10km race and was so fast, yet did not just train for running. I still think she was a fantastic athlete and because of her, I began riding to complement my running.

Big Goals

For this season it is to break 3 hours for a marathon. Past this, I would like to run sub 35 minutes for 10km again as it has been a while. As well as keep up with my kids

Nutrition Tips

With IBS issues I need to work very carefully with natural products and with timings of when I eat. I cannot eat within 2 hours of a race and carb-loading needs to happen over a few days for myself and not just the night before as most do.
