My name is Samantha Bond, Melbourne based. I’m a mum of 2 running my own Personal Training Studio. I am passionate about all things health & fitness. I’m an avid runner, completing 5 marathons to date as well as a passionate netball player. I love HIIT training as well as strength training. I’m currently training for my sixth marathon!
Achievements
I’m currently training for my 6th Marathon. I have been selected to be the pacer for 4:15 time for the Sunshine Coast Marathon in August. I’m also about to start my netball season.

What Inspires You
All my achievements are to make my boys proud and to be an example to them. My husband is incredibly supportive of my training and business I have created.
Big Goals
Ultimately I would love to tick off marathons at all the world majors. Mainly I have my eyes set on New York Marathon
Nutrition Tips
Particularly in the lead up to a Marathon, rest and light training is key. Going in with “fresh legs” is vital. Plenty of hydration is not only required on the day but in the weeks leading up to the event.
