Hi, we're Matt and Stack a couple of mountain bikers from Perth, WA. Matt lives with a connective tissue disorder called Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and uses biking as a major part of his health care plan to stay active and maintain joint strength. Stack is his partner and carer, she joins in on what she can ride and photographs what she can't. When we're not riding bikes we are organising community ride and clean up days at local parks.
Achievements
After losing a large part of his overall mobility, relying on wheelchairs, walking sticks, crutches and support from Stack, Matt got past this with a huge amount of hard work and determination to keep going. He now rides bikes every other day and uses physio on the off days to maintain his health the best that he can. This has been a long and sometimes hard journey for us but the progression we've made fuels us to keep going.

What Inspires You
We are both inspired by the idea of what if? What if I got up and rode my bike or what if I hike that trail? There is potential to do and be more, so what if?
Big Goals
Matt's big goal is to complete the Munda Biddi trail. Stack's big goal is to continue progressing her riding and photography work.
Nutrition Tips
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Make sure to allow time to eat a proper meal before and after a ride and give yourself enough time to rest and recover.
