So here we go, as a snack or a meal, here are favourite ways to serve up your yummy vegan protein pancakes:
Strawberries and Cream Pancakes
Who doesn’t love the creamy taste of fresh strawberries and cream? While it’s not the same, our version comes pretty close. Simply smear each layer of pancakes with a tablespoon of your favourite dairy-free yogurt. Top with fresh sliced strawberries, and there is a healthy way to satisfy any sweet tooth.
Pancakes with Crunch
If savoury foods are more your style, you can add a delicious element of saltiness and crunch to your pancakes by topping with a tablespoon of bircher muesli mix. Or, you can make up your own using pumpkin seeds, dried goji berries, dried blueberries, pepitas and sunflower seeds and oats. Add a tablespoon of dairy-free yoghurt to keep your topping and pancakes together in all their deliciousness.
Peanut Butter and Jelly
An original and classic combination, peanut butter and jelly is an easy way to satisfy any peanut butter lover. Simply add a generous layer of crunchy peanut butter between each layer of pancake and a thin slice of your favourite jelly or jam. We love Alfie’s Food Co Crunchy Peanut Butter and the St Dalfour range as, like our range, they are all-natural. This makes a yummy breakfast or even a tasty afternoon snack.
Lemon and Blueberry
If you’re a fan of sweet and sour flavours, then lemon and blueberry is a perfect flavour combination. We recommend thinly slicing the lemon and placing it on your pancakes and adding some fresh blueberries. For extra sweetness, you can dust with coconut sugar.
Sometimes nothing beats a delicious chocolate treat. Make yourself the ultimate choc pancake feast by adding some dark choc or cacao nibs to your Bindi pancake mix. Add a drizzle of healthy chocolate sauce, from the supermarket. You can also top it with some coconut ice cream and extra chocolate chips—a chocolate lovers delight.
Sometimes simple is best. Adding some fresh fruit to your pancakes such as banana, strawberries, apple, peaches, and raspberries makes for a satisfying treat. You can also dust with coconut sugar to add extra sweetness—a simple, yet delicious way to enjoy our Bindi Nutrition protein pancakes.
