Hi, I'm Christine. I'm a wife and mum from Perth who recently decided to get fit (again). I grew up doing athletics, but had a back injury at age 18 and didn't really do any sports for the past 16 years. Last year a friend talked me into trying a triathlon, and I fell in love with the sport - and being active again.


I did 3 sprint triathlons in the last year and enjoyed it so much, that I look forward to doing some Olympic distance tris next year and eventually a half ironman. I was also part of a relay team that finished 15th out of 62 in our category at the Margaret River Ultra Marathon this year. Next year I would love to complete more than one leg of the MRMU.

You'll never know if you don't try - I have no idea who said that :-) But you have to at least try, otherwise how will you ever know the outcome? You will miss out on some amazing adventures if you don't at least try...

What Inspires You

The ladies I run with - we're all just women with busy lives, but we make time to get out and be active, and we're constantly pushing harder and further. So great to have a bunch of ladies who pull me out the door for a run even when I don't really feel like it.

I would love to complete the Busselton 70.3

Nutrition Tips

Hydrating before a big event. This has made a huge difference for me. So not just hydrating on the day, but being aware of what I eat and drink in the days leading up to an event.
