Achievements
Having been told in the early days of my running to give up because I wasn't built to be a runner, every run, session and race is an achievement. I've worked my way up from a 5k parkrun to last year running 68ks (42 miles) around my local lake (11 laps). This year I'm taking on my first last man standing event, and 100K which was cancelled last year due to COVID.
The body achieves what the mind believes.
What Inspires You
My husband who took up running because I don't fish. He started with the couch to 5k so that we would have something to talk about, and now has run a marathon, and is training for his first 50k. His dedication to training is inspiring.
Big Goals
To continually push myself to go that little bit further.
Nutrition Tips
Hydration is key! Something that I struggle with, but using Bindilyte has helped with making sure I drink enough water throughout the day, as well as before and after sessions.
